Equine Fertility +

"An optimum blend of essential omega 3 fatty acids and nutrients to sustain equine fertility"

Omega 3 fatty acids are especially important, in both the mare and the stallion, to sustain fertility.

In the mare, they are taken up by the placenta and are responsible for promoting sustained pregnancy, general growth and blood flow into the placenta and increased content of essential fatty acids in the foetus, amongst other key functions.

In the stallion, DHA (an omega 3 fatty acid) is linked to fertility through its association with sperm motility and normal physiology.  Supplemental DHA is said to be most beneficial for stallions of marginal fertility.

Equine Fertility + contains:

  • Naturally high levels of omega 3 but low levels of omega 6
  • Natural anti-oxidants
  • Bio-available lysine to encourage milk production
  • Organic (chelated) minerals, readily available for use as enzymatic cofactors
  • A special blend of yeasts, which reduces the acid load in the digestive tract and aids more efficient digestion
  • Methionine and biotin, which are essential nutrients for healthy hoof growth during this period of nutritional stress.
