Our History

The company was established in 1952 to provide products and services to the agricultural sector mainly through home mixers and the feed industry on the home market. Over the past 53 years, Devenish has developed from being a trading based company to one in which 90% of our sales are now in our own manufactured product.

The existing management team acquired Devenish Feeds in November 1997 and over the last 11 years have developed the company by way of investment in plant facilities and expansion of its marketplace. Today, over 70% of our sales lie outside the home market of Northern Ireland, although Northern Ireland continues to grow in size and importance. The company name today, Devenish Nutrition, reflects the importance we place on Research & Development in animal nutrition and our continuous move towards specialised products within the agri industry.

Devenish Nutrition is now an expanded organisation working closely with our partners in the USA, namely Omega Nutrition in Minnesota and Eu-Tec Nutrition in Iowa. We also have a number of key distributors throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle and Far East and some regional toll manufacturing arrangements.
